Makati Hope Christian School, located at 2312 Don Chino Roces Avenue formerly Pasong Tamo Extension, with Mr. Luke Roxas as Chairman of the Board, has just completed its fourth year retreat entitled: “Who am I”. The fourth year high school students of this premier educational institution spent their meaningful retreat at a resort in Cavite last January 25-27, 2012. It was a fun-filled three day event and it carried the theme: “Deeper Relationship with God”. Students were immediately separated into 12 groups as they arrive on the venue. Counselors, staff of Makati Hope Christian School, and members of Makati Hope Fellowship, were assigned to moderate each team.
A retreat serves as a pause from the stresses of everyday life. It is an opportunity to strengthen friendships. It is a time for quiet prayers and reflection. It is an opportunity to build camaraderie and promote understanding between students and teachers. A retreat is a fun break everybody should enjoy. It is being solemn and active at the same time.
