10 Don’ts in Social Media Marketing | Luke Roxas

Social Media Marketing has been booming as of late, with people relying more and more on the internet. Some people can’t even resume with their daily lives without having access to the World Wide Web. Thus, more and more companies take advantage of this, and use various social media to carry out their business strategies. However, it is a big challenge to compete with other companies when it comes to search engine hits, and it’s fairly easy to commit some slip-ups when you’re not fully familiar yet with the workings of the online market. Here are a few “Don’ts” you should avoid when participating in the online economy.

Social Media Marketing1. Don’t spam your ads and links.

Probably the most important thing you should avoid doing is spamming. Spamming is the repetitive usage of information, in the hopes of instilling that information into a reader’s memory, or increasing the likelihood that someone would bump into your advertisements. Nobody loves a spammer, and this is the easiest way to become an internet nuisance. Readers are more likely to remember to avoid your ads next time they go online.

But remember to be practical so that you won’t lose track of your goal. Dreaming to have a billion bucks in one day certainly is not realistic. Have a time bound dream and shoot for it.

How to Make Your Small Business Look Big | Luke Roxas

Make Your Business Stand OutHere’s a fact: Just because your business is small does not mean you cannot make it look big.

Nowadays, with the rise of technological advancements and the boom of social media, looking big is no longer impossible for small businesses. All you really have to do is make the most out of all these versatile tools that’s been given to your hands. Be creative and use these instruments to further maximize your resources.

Here are four ways for you to do that:

1) Invest in your website

When people need a certain service of product, they rarely spend time rummaging through the ads printed on their trusted newspapers. This is because the online world has provided more convenient alternatives. In today’s world, one of the best ways to make people aware of your business’s existence is by creating an informative, competent, beautifully-designed website. If your website is mediocre, people won’t take you seriously. It is important that you update your site regularly. You should invest time and effort to post fresh substantial contents on it for you to make sure that your clients follow you. Always announce your latest achievements to let people know that your products and/or services are top notch. Hiring a Search Engine Optimization expert is also encouraged to make sure your website rank on the search engines.

Having a moral compass and holding on to a set of values are crucial to one’s business most especially in times of crisis. It is the manager’s main responsibility to make sure that business ethics is observed in their workplace. Here are some practical ways to do that.

Today’s modern businesses have many different set ups. As technology continues to exponentially innovate and improve, lots of new business forms are being made available. The high-speed internet paved ways to certain home-based businesses, and many other businesses are growing at an enormous rate. That there are also businesses out there that don’t necessarily require the Internet is a fascinating fact. These businesses mainly involve getting to know people and inviting them to join your business cell. All you’ll really need here to earn is a legal company to belong to, a product, and the power of Word of Mouth. This business is called Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), or simply Network Marketing.

Network Marketing can potentially offer a beneficial lifestyle as one does not need to go to work on a regular time basis, so time will really be in your hands. But this kind of business won’t be a gold mine for everyone who chooses to try it out. Years of hard work poured into network marketing does not guarantee success, so what does one need to do to maximize success and minimize failure? It will be very helpful to know the pros and cons of MLM for us to understand it and make a thriving business out of it.

5 Tips for Effective Social Media Marketing | Luke Roxas

Some may think that Social Media Marketing is one of those things that is constantly hyped but rarely put to good use. This is false. Social media marketing has got to be the most convenient way to put yourself out there without the aid of professional advertising. With just a bit of fiddling around and patience, you can use social media to grant yourself the exposure that you’re aiming for.

Social Media StrategyFirst off, having a successful business means pushing forth your own personal brand, and that’s where social media marketing excels. The most fundamental thing you must do above all else is to get your brand name known to the public as much as possible. This strategy is now the staple in social media marketing, and for very good reason. Before delving into the goal of getting your name out, come up with the best name for your business. A company logo is also essential, so make sure yours will be creative and easy to remember. Once you have something that is easily recognizable to your niche market, then it is time to set up your account and start posting.

How to Promote your People | Luke Roxas Blog

You’ve all heard this story before: Jack is a good employee. In fact, he’s the best one you’ve got. He has excellent skills and everything you ask him to do turn out better than what you thought. So you promote him to supervisor. Six months in, with incompetent results and tons of complaints from former teammates later, you fire him. So what went wrong? You promoted him! Jack was doing an excellent job where he was when you pulled him out of an environment and job description that perfectly suited his strengths.

Just because you have a hardworking and highly competent employee doesn’t mean he deserves to be promoted to the next available high-ranking position. That’s why there are employee performance reviews. This process will give you the chance to hear directly from your employees what it is they do really well and what position they can really fill. This also gives you the chance to talk to them about specific areas for improvement and to determine where exactly this employee can grow in your company.

Here are three key things to consider when evaluating someone for a promotion:

How to Make Your Clients Pay on Time | Luke Roxas

Making your clients pay on time is not an easy task. In the first place, it has to be done in such a way that would not turn them off, just like what annoying collectors do when they go to your doorstep and insist things. Nor can it be done too softly and sweetly that you’d end up giving them the impression that it’s perfectly fine if they always pay up late.

But how can we really assure that they would pay on time? Okay, let me tell you.

How to Make Clients Pay on Time

1) Move fast.

If you want to get paid on time, you have to make sure that your processes are done quickly but accurately. If a service or product has been completely given to the client, then bill them immediately and ensure that that entire process is fast as well. Besides, your clients may be too busy so you have to catch up with their pacing.

Continuous operations were made to further beautify the surroundings of Caliraya Lake and it became a fancy location for vacation homes similar to those in Western countries. In the 1980’s, Caliraya Lake experienced some downfalls when the place was occupied by the New People’s Army. However, ways of maintaining the serenity of the place continued since 1980. Ways on how to Better Develop Yourself | Luke Roxas

Ways to Develop YourselfThere is always room for improvement, many people say. In fact, even the ones who are already well-established in their respective fields never close their door to further development as experts of their chosen profession or industry. This is because they keep in their mind that they should level up from time to time and do things better. But how is it done? Read on and learn about the five ways to develop yourself.

1) Listen to what others tell you

Sometimes, it’s hard for us to pinpoint our own points for improvement. This is why for some individuals, it really takes the opinion of other people before they could realize that they have something to change or develop about them. In certain colleges and universities for instance, each student is required to evaluate all of their teachers for the faculty member to realize both his/her strong and weak points. And of course, he/she could analyze the feedback received as he tries to be a better teacher next semester. It is also the reason why student go through workshops. Its activities help people realize what they are probably missing out about them or their works.

Setting a Budget for Social Media Marketing | Luke Roxas Blog

With all the technology we have now, we can say that we are really lucky. Of course, one of the things that we enjoy from this high-tech era is social media. Apart from being a phenomenal form of entertainment, social media has already emerged as an effective platform in promoting business. Unlike before when you have to pay high rates just to have your product promoted or advertised, you can now use the social media in promoting your business along with other advertisements.

Sounds good, I know. But I’m certain that we still have numerous interesting questions regarding the overall potential of social media. For instance, do you really need to spend for social media networking? And if so, how much should you spend on it?

One of the most common beliefs when speaking of social media is that it is and will always be for free. Many believe that nothing should be spent for social media marketing. Well, they have a point. Social networking sites are usually free. Because of this, people assume that when dealing with it, even in terms of marketing in business, it does not come with a price.
