Joshua Yang: the Pride of Makati Hope Christian School | Luke Roxas

Makati Hope Christian School, headed by its Chairman of the Board Mr. Luke C. Roxas, proudly commits to educating student achievers who excel in both sports and academic competitions. An excellent example is Joshua Benzi Yang, a Grade 5 student from Makati Hope Christian School who recently bagged several awards from two swimming competitions.

Prince of the Pool

Joshua emerged as the most outstanding swimmer in the recent Green Mariner’s Invitational Filipino-Chinese School Short Course Sprint Championships, bagging three gold medals held at Emilio Aguinaldo College. He emerged victorious in three swimming categories, proving that his swimming skills are truly exemplary. Joshua also triumphed in the last Alaska Ironkids Aquathlon (300m swim and 1.5km run competition) held at the Alabang Country Club. Yang’s family and the Makati Hope Christian School will give their full support as Joshua, dubbed the “Prince of the Pool”, competes in November for the National Short Course Age Group Swimming Championship at Trace College, Laguna.
