5 Effective Online Brand Management Tactics for 2013 | Luke Roxas

It’s all about your brand. Nowadays, we have to keep in mind that people buy your products or avail your services because they believe that you are a master of what you do.  Even before your target market gets a taste of what you’re offering, they already have an idea of what they’re getting into because of your reputation, allowing them to develop an early perception of your business. This is why a lot of businesses invest in brand management, which is a function of marketing that ensures that their image of their business remains credible no matter what. And of course, thanks to the Internet, brand management has become easier and more crucial at the same time.

Online Brand Management

1) Claim it.

One of the best ways to build a strong reputation online is to impress people with a list of all your achievements. Do not be shy! Neither should you think it is being boastful. Remember, it is better that you establish true and accurate information about your brand instead of letting others say things about your business that may or may not be based on fact.

How to Handle a Perfectionist Superior

Working for a perfectionist superior can be a rough, daily challenge. Apart from the fact that it is very difficult to please a perfectionist, it is also hard to live up to his high expectations. But despite the fact that there are a lot of perfectionist bosses in different industries, there are still a lot of individuals who manage to not only remain, but also excel, in their positions. Whether through experience, wisdom, or pure patience, there are a number of employees out there who can “handle” their superiors no matter how perfectionist they can be. And yes, they also have the right mindset that keeps them going.

The following are some ways one can handle a perfectionist superior.

Perfectionist Boss

1) Listen to his instructions carefully and follow them

Most of the time, superiors lose their temper because of mistakes committed due to misinterpreted instructions. When your superior asks you to do certain things in very specific ways, make sure that you follow all of them faithfully. And just in case you are not quite sure if you can trust your memory, take down notes.

Business Lessons We can Learn from the Harlem Shake

Harlem Shake

Following 2012′s mega hit “Gangnam Style”, a viral dance craze called Harlem Shake has taken over the pop culture corner of the Internet. By now, it’s pretty much safe to assume that everyone who has web access has been humored, or haunted, by its countless renditions. Recognizing its popularity, one cannot help but ask himself: “What in the hell made it so viral?” Its beat? Its silliness? What? In this entry, we are going to discuss specific characteristics of Harlem Shake that we can apply to benefit our business.

1) Start it with a bang

Con los terroristas! The moment you hear these words, you know precisely what’s going to happen next. Indeed, Harlem Shake opens with a bang, and its weirdly restrained energy hints that something more… extreme… is going to happen later on. The same can be said about businesses.
